The bar has a large TV which can be used for watching news channels and sports events.
Board Games
We have a large selection of board games (like Risk, Scrabble, dominoes etc) in the office area.
Library
We have a large selection of reference books in the Reception & Lounge area for guests to enjoy.
Book Exchange
We have a book exchange in the Office area where you can exchange your old novel for a new one.
Garden Games
We have a number of garden games, such as Boules (Petanque) and Croquet for you to use.
Pool Table
There is a free Pool table in the Swimming Pool area.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is reserved exclusively for residents of the hotel, so it is a relaxing place to swim. We also have a number of sun beds, and a number of floatation toys for children.
Gardens & Birdbaths
We have a large tropical garden teeming with birdlife, which is worth walking around. There are a number of hidden alcoves with seating areas; perfect for relaxing with a book or a drink.
Playground
We have a small playground with a sandpit (including toys) for children to play in.

The Botanical Gardens
The Gardens are a 15-minute bicycle ride from The Boma. They date from the Colonial era and contain many beautiful trees including palms and medicinal plants. A rainforest-type environment here is locally said to have been used in an old Tarzan movie! Of particular interest are the Colobus monkeys and the wide variety of bird species in the Gardens.
UWEC
The Wildlife Centre, formally the Zoo, is one of Uganda’s most popular attractions.
An open-air enclosure on Lake Victoria can be visited as part of the Ngamba Island experience or combined with a visit to The Botanical Gardens. Plenty of animals and a chance to see the Shoebill Stork at close quarters.
Beach & Gorettis Pizza
Well worth a lunchtime visit or for sundowners, this restaurant is right on the beach, offering Entebbe’s best lakeside dining experience. We can organise your transport to and from the restaurant.
Mabamba Swamp
Half-day trips can be organised to the swamp in search of the elusive Shoebill Stork.
Fishing on Lake Victoria
Fishing trips can be arranged with a number of local tour operators. Advance notice is required.
Ngamba Island
A half and full-day trip to the Ngamba Chimpanzee Island Sanctuary can be arranged
by prior notice. We can supply packed lunches for the excursion.
Transfer to Kampala
We can arrange transfers to Kampala and beyond using a reputable taxi driver.
18 Hole Golf Course
We can arrange a trip to the Entebbe Golf Course. We also have various golf club sets that you can borrow.
Sunset Cruises
Sunset cruises can be chartered on the lake with prior notice. Transport and from the departure point can also be arranged.
